·Navigator: Tools for Management Control & Knowledge Management
Actcell has adopted "Navigator", developed by Swedish insurance company Skandia, as a Management Improvement Tool. Navigator is based on developed version of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) concept. However, while BSC strongly emphasizes the achievement of results relating to the ultimate goal on the Strategy Map, which is "financial focus", Navigator is characterized by the fact that it places equal emphasis on all five Focus areas of "Financial", "Customer", "Human", "Processes" and "Innovation". Furthermore, while "Human" are at the heart of all activities, Navigator suggests that businesses will eventually lose their ability and momentum to grow if "Innovation" which are vital to every foundation and cornerstone (of medium-to long-term efforts), are neglected. |
