So what exactly is this "Corporate Value" that attracts customers, people, business partners, investors and society in general?
Actcell believes that a company's tangible assets, such as products, services and business performance, account for just one part of a company's total value. Instead, we prefer to focus on Intellectual Capital(the roots of a company's value), which forms the source of the company's inherent value and strength, and gives rise to the aforementioned tangible assets.
The vast majority of the "roots of value" of a company, such as people, organization, corporate culture, external relationships, branding, expertise and knowledge, have been accumulated through long-term corporate activity and are difficult to quantify in a visual manner.
We believe that many of these "roots" go unacknowledged and lie dormant without being utilized or improved upon.
Unless the "roots of value" of a company are properly recognized and nurtured, growth will be transient. However, by creating a company in a way that is firmly built on these "roots of value," it is possible to transform the business into one with a flexible and powerful inner strength that will not be easily damaged or swayed by temporary fluctuations in business performance or difficult situations.
