Hitoshi Funahashi, CEO (CEO of Actcell Investment Corporation) |
Responsible for the development of human resource-focused corporate support services, for both the Human Resource Management Department and the New Business Development section at Recruit Co., Ltd. Established Recruit's Business Incubation Division in 1996, started publication of Entre, a magazine for would-be entrepreneurs, and worked to support venture businesses in their incubation stage. Founded Actcell Corporation in 2000 after taking over the Business Incubation Division's Venture Support Section, which had been developing in a project format. In 2001, Actcell collaborated with Swedish Intellectual Capital ratings company "Intellectual Capital Sweden AB," and now works to support the transformation of businesses that are focused on Intellectual Capital.
Graduated from Waseda University Graduate School(MBA). Currently enrolled in PhD program at Waseda University.

Hidetoshi Kikuchi, Director |
Joined Actcell Corporation after leaving Recruit Co., Ltd. Since Actcell's inception, has been involved in the designing of the ICM Consulting Service, which centers on the assessment and measurement of Intellectual Capital, as well as introducing and promoting this service to client companies. Has worked as Project Manager on company-wide restructuring projects for major electronics manufacturers and consumer goods manufacturers. Currently responsible for Marketing & Sales Strategies (Customer Capital Enhancement).

Hiroyuki Nakamura, Director |
Has 17 years of experience in various specialized divisions covering all facets of HRM in Recruit's Human Resource Integrated Service Department. Specializes in organizational strategy. A core member of Actcell since its inception, and currently mainly responsible for supporting corporate Intellectual Capital disclosure. Has participated in the following projects for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI): "Study on Intellectual Capital and Corporate Value," "Intellectual Assets Index" and "Guidelines for Disclosure of Intellectual Assets Based Management." Also a founding member of the Japan branch of the 2005 International Consortium for Intellectual Property, "Paris Club."
Acquired Life Plan Advisor certification (BAA: an affiliate association of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) in 1993.
Appointed to work as a private researcher for the Association of Employment Development for Senior Citizens (an affiliate group of the Health, Labor, and Welfare Ministry) for 4 years (2 terms) in 1994.

Fumihiro Ohba, Director |
Worked at McKinsey & Company's Japan branch to support the drafting and implementation of business strategies in the high-tech industry in Japan, centering on major consumer electronics and semi-conductor manufacturers and communications businesses. Also experienced in manufacturing operations reform, new business launches, and the drafting and implementation of management and marketing strategies for the medical equipment and publishing industries. Since joining Actcell in April 2005, has been involved in the strategic reconstruction and corporate transformation of major companies from the perspective of improving Corporate Value, and consulting activities centering on the establishment of new group governance based on Intellectual Capital.
